Integrated Therapies

21st February 2022 7:30pm via Teams

Bromley Council and SEL Clinical Commissioning Group (Bromley) are undertaking a review of Children and Young People’s Therapy Services (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy) for children and young people in Bromley.

Therapies are jointly commissioned by Bromley Council and SEL Clinical Commissioning Group (Bromley) to provide support and advice for children and young people from 0-18 years of age, or up to 25 years for those with an Education Health and Care Plan.

As part of the review we have asked families what is working well and what needs to change; this has informed how we develop a  more accessible integrated therapy offer across a more graduated 3-tier approach (universal, targeted and specialist).

The next stage of the review is to host some working groups with parents, young people, schools & settings and Therapy Providers so that this offer can be co-produced together.  Bromley Council have asked BPESS to invite 2-3 parents to represent families at a parent working group.

The working group will take place via Microsoft Teams on Monday 21 February at 7.30pm.

If you would like to be involved with this important project please contact parentengagementservice@yvhsc.org.uk by Friday 18 February.
