We are recruiting volunteers!

Do you, or someone you know, want to support Bromley families with SEND?

The Information, Advice & Support Service (IASS) is recruiting volunteers to support families with advice on a range of education, health & care matters relating to SEND.

We are running a training course for volunteers from January 2026. The course will run for 6 weeks, face-to-face once per week on a Monday morning for 3 hours. Following this course, successful volunteers will be required to complete basic legal training via IPSEA.

Volunteers require several distinct skills, including excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to listen and retain complex information. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, or if you would like more information, we have attached a poster to this email with contact details.

Please contact Matt with any questions, and for more information, before your place can be confirmed.
