We provide free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support relating to special educational needs and disability (SEND)
We can help by:
- Listening to your views and concerns
- Helping you feel more confident to express your views
- Explaining your options, rights and responsibilities
- Helping prepare for meetings and/or attending meetings with you
- Helping with writing reports, letters and other relevant paperwork
- Answering your questions about SEN support and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Supporting you through a needs assessment or review
- Supporting to resolve disagreements
- Developing networks and links locally to provide solutions to your individual queries
Whilst we are formally part of Bromley Council, we operate at arms length to make sure that we remain impartial.

When you talk to us, what you say is confidential – everything that we talk about will be kept private.
Our volunteers
An Independent Volunteer Supporter (IVS) is someone who is able to support those who have SEND.
The use of AI
The IASS Network have produced this short statement for use by services in their work with parent/carers, children and young people which advises on the risks associated with using artificial intelligence tools in relation to the law and accessing legal guidance.
